Arbeitslandschaft ist in dieser Arbeit nicht zwangsläufig eine Umgebung, die das Stattfinden von Arbeit suggeriert, sondern eher eine durch Zweckbauten zerstörte Idylle. Denn als Idylle vermögen wir eine Wiese, ein eintöniges Feld trotz intensiver landwirtschaftlicher Nutzung gleichwohl zu sehen, weil unser Empfinden für Landschaft durch die uralte der Tradition der Bewirtschaftung der Bodenflächen geprägt ist und wir mit dem Bild eines Feldes oder eines Ackers Landschaft und Idylle verbinden. Andererseits geht es auch um ein verändertes Verhältnis zur Wirklichkeit, das in den äußeren Formen der „Arbeitshüllen“ und in der Wahl ihrer Standorte zum Ausdruck kommt. Es ist die Konsequenz einer sich ständig ändernden Welt, in der es unser eigenes Konsumverhalten ist, über dessen Folgen wir uns so gern beklagen. Dabei wird uns, stellvertretend für Vieles, nichts anderes übrig bleiben, als die neuenArbeitslandschaften in die Gewohnheiten unseres Sehens einzubinden.

In this work, working landscape is not necessarily an environment that suggests the taking place of work, but rather an idyll destroyed by functional buildings. For as an idyll we are able to see a meadow, a monotonous field despite intensive agricultural use, because our perception of landscape is shaped by the age-old tradition of cultivating the land and we associate landscape and idyll with the image of a field or a field. On the other hand, it is also about a changed relationship to reality, which is expressed in the outer forms of the „working shells“ and in the choice of their locations. It is the consequence of a constantly changing world, in which it is our own consumer behaviour, about the consequences of which we are so fond of complaining. And yet, representing many things, we will have no choice but to integrate the new working landscapes into the habits of our way of seeing.
